Last Round: Hangover Helper or Hardly Helpful?

It would seem that over the last several years there has been an explosion in the number of hangover cures / remedies / preventatives and after a while of bumping into them in various places, I got curious as to what made these products tick. Plus, I am an avid supporter of ‘Wine Wednesday’, a blog hop I feel like I invented and if I didn’t I should have, and I am thanking the one who did.

One thing I’ve noticed, over my last drinking decade, is that a whole bunch of these hangover products are sold in much the same way as “pleasure pills” (you know what I mean – they come into your email box alongside the ‘Fake Rolex’ ads?). ‘Last Resort: Hangover Support’ is made by a company, HerbaSway Laboratories, who also provides a vast array of essential remedies like Green Tea and Blueberry (next review on those coming up in a week or so!)! This pleased me, because we are a fairly crunchy household so ingesting something that is sans chemicals, preservatives or things I cannot pronounce.
